Lime Green Solo Mesh

Lime Green Solo Mesh is embedded in Lime Green Solo One Coat Plaster while it is wet, to help improve its impact resistance and tensile strength. It is required on softer backgrounds like wood fibre boards and woodwool boards, but not on plasterboard.

Packaging

Individual rolls in a plastic sleeve of 50 meters x 1 meter. Assume 7kg for handling purposes.

Storage

Store in a dry place out of direct sunlight.

Coverage

Between 45 and 50m2 depending on the overlap.

Preparation

Pre-cut Solo Mesh to the correct length and shape as necessary using a Stanley knife or shears.

Application

Apply a pass of Solo One Coat Lime Plaster to the background. While it is tacky push the Solo Mesh into the plaster in vertical strips. Smooth the mesh in from the top down, using a trowel, before applying the rest of the Solo over the top. Working across the wall each strip of mesh should overlap the previous one by 100mm. The mesh should sit in the outer half of plaster coat once it is fully
finished. Additional diagonal strips can be places around openings and lintels and other higher stress areas.
