Finest Buxton Linseed Oil Bound Lime Wash

This Pure Limewash gives maximum coverage, a brilliant rich finish and can hold mineral pigments extremely well. Premixed linseed oil with tree rosin. Gives a long lasting robust finish.

Description 

It will need less maintenance than a normal limewash but depends how water comes through the structure, if applied to a sheltered area of the property you would expect to get around 5-10 years before having to apply another coat.

Remains attractive as it gradually ages, it also benefits from a shorter 'maturing' time. Better permeability than conventional limewash allowing the building fabric to breathe. It is a traditional, inexpensive coating to protect render, plasterwork and masonry

Can be applied by a pump sprayer or roller. When applied without pigments it results in a brilliant white finish due to the purity of lime its made with. Contains no toxic compounds or solvents. Holds pigments exceptionally well giving greater quality to colours
